There seems to be seismic activity in the Columbia Valley and no one is talking about it. It felt like there was a earth quack here several hours before the one in Banff awhile back on Feb. 14th. I experience an quack on the New Madrid Fault in 1969 which was a carbon copy of the 14th in Revelstoke. Now last night for over an hour starting at 3 AM there were a series of low frequency impacts every 10 to 15 minutes. Shook the house, some rattling the windows. Could have called in thunder but there wasn't a cloud in the sky and the phenomena was to abrupt, no echo. BC Hydro has this whole valley wired with seismic monitors because of the damns. WTF just happened? .
