In light of all of the information circling the media in regard to the land protectors in Northern BC and subsequent stands of solidarity across the nation, a short 20 minute documentary has been created and is available for viewings across the world.
Invasion highlights some of the issues the Wet'suwet'en people are facing, also provides more details as to why this fight is about so much more than a pipeline.
In fact, the Wet'suwet'en hereditary chiefs recommended an alternative route to CGL in the planning phases that would not affect ecologically and culturally significant areas of their territory. CGL said no. (Global BC Article Jan 21st 2020)
Just putting feelers out there to determine if there would be an interest in this. Cost would be free; though information available on site on how to donate directly to the cause if you were interested.
Please note, this is not a call out for local protest actions, simply an invitation to learn more about what is going on up north--and across Canada--in regards to indigenous rights.
