This workshop is for anyone interested in the basics of beekeeping and/ or becoming a beekeeper. Topics include: Hive setup, first season timeline, best practices and available beekeeping support resources.

Beekeeping Basics - April 18 & 19, 2020 - 9:00am - 3:30pm $224.70

You can become a beekeeper, whether you live in the big city, the suburbs, or in the country. Learn what the handling of honeybees is all about. Beekeeping Basics covers the essentials of beekeeping, will prepare you for the initial start-up of your own bee colony, and you will soon be producing your own honey. This course will have a practical session in a working Bee Yard.
